The 3D fiber laser cutting machine is a high-end machine tool equipment that integrates light, machinery, electricity, and gas. It is mainly suitable for metal cutting of curved thin plates.

 

The 3D laser cutting technology has been developed since the 1990s, with only two manufacturers, Trumpf from Germany and Prima from Italy, monopolizing the market. After 2008, NTC and Mitsubishi in Japan developed a low acceleration, low speed, and high-precision 3D CO2 laser cutting machine with a mobile workbench. However, due to the emergence and application of automotive hot forming technology, the situation of low market demand has been changed. A car hot forming production line is generally equipped with 4-5 three-dimensional five axis laser cutting machines, and the market demand is developing explosively. As of now, there are nearly 450 automotive hot forming production lines worldwide, and there are approximately 2000 sets of 3D laser cutting machines produced along with supporting facilities. There are nearly 170 hot forming production lines in China, and approximately 700 sets of 3D laser cutting machines are produced along with the supporting facilities.

 

Steel plate hot forming technology refers to the process of forming a steel plate after being heated at a high temperature of 950 ℃, followed by rapid cooling, thereby comprehensively improving the strength of the steel plate, with a yield strength of over 1000Mpa. Due to the high strength of the steel plate, traditional trimming and punching molds cannot be used for trimming and punching due to the high strength of the steel plate, and can only be produced using laser. The yield strength of ordinary steel plates is 140Mpa, suitable for tourist and cable cars; The yield strength of high-strength steel plates is between 180-240Mpa, suitable for trucks, forklifts, buses, excavators, agricultural machinery, etc; The yield strength of high-strength steel plate is between 260-320Mpa, suitable for economy sedans and SUVs; The yield strength of high-strength steel plate is between 340-700Mpa, suitable for high-end sedans and SUVs; The yield strength of hot-formed steel plates exceeds 1000Mpa, while the yield strength of hot-formed steel plates is generally around 1500Mpa. At present, material manufacturers are developing hot formed steel plates with a yield strength of around 2000Mpa, and increasingly ultra-high strength steel plates are widely used in the automotive industry.
